One of the great things about successful implementation of SCM is that eventually, students will move up levels to a less restrictive environment. Seeing a student advance from Daily Points to Off-Card Merit is an achievement all teachers celebrate. But it can be tricky along the way! Moving kids up and down the levels as designed must be managed properly in order for the Motivation System to be successful. Our expert will discuss the criteria for changing levels within motivation systems, and provide examples that will help teachers implement with success.

One challenge many educators in a specialized environment face is how to represent behaviorally specific goals on an IEP or service plan. Our expert will discuss strategies and provide examples of behaviorally-specific attainable goals, and review how to use the skills and strategies provided in SCM to track progress against these goals.

Now that we have reviewed a variety of tools and strategies, and answered questions related to each of the topics provided, it’s your turn to ask a panel of our experts! Our panel of experts will be available for an audience-driven session devoted to additional clarification on subjects discussed; questions that weren’t covered in prior sessions; didn’t come up in prior sessions; or came up after a session topic was delivered.
